Quartet Four Quarters

The Russian folk instruments quartet of the Karelian Philharmonic Four Quarters is a combination of youth and experience, innovation and tradition.

The quartet was founded in 2022. The debut took place also in 2022 at the VI International Music Festival "Ruskeala Symphony". All musicians are graduates of the Petrozavodsk State Conservatoire and are laureates of international competitions.

The ensemble performs music of various genres, from folk tunes to popular classics. There are almost no ready-made arrangements for such ensemble, so all the pieces in their repertoire are arranged specifically for the performers.
