Women's Chamber Choir "Rimsky-Korsakov"

The "Rimsky-Korsakov" Chamber Women's Choir was founded in 2014 and consists of female students and graduates of secondary and higher music schools in St. Petersburg, most of whom graduated from the Rimsky-Korsakov St. Petersburg Music School.

The ensemble successfully performs at concert venues around the country and regularly makes concert tours to cities in France, Belgium, Luxembourg (2014, 2016/17, 2019). The ensemble's repertoire consists of Russian classics, Church music, arrangements of Russian romances and folk songs, works by Western European composers and contemporary choral music.

On 25 August 2019, under the baton of Sergei Ekimov, the ensemble took part in a performance of Mozart's Requiem, as part of the Russian-French choir and symphony orchestra at the Saint-Louis Cathedral in Paris. In February 2020, the Women's Chamber Choir won the Grand Prix at the VII World Children's and Youth Choir Championships.

The group has recorded two compact discs: "Christmas Hymns and Carols" and "Easter Hymns". Both albums were released in France.

The founder and artistic director of the ensemble is Professor Sergei Ekimov.
