Timur Khaliullin
Many people indeed have heard how an organ or harpsichord sounds, but not everyone knows about the carillon. It is a gimmick, a highlight - a jewel of street music culture. It is also called a bell organ. There are only four such instruments in Russia: in St. Petersburg, Peterhof, Belgorod and Kubinka (Moscow region).
The Belgorod carillon is the only mobile (travelling) one in Russia, which can work both outdoors and in concert halls. The mobile carillon consists of 51 bells, which were cast in Holland at the Petit and Fretsen factory. To hear the carillon in the open air is a historic event for music lovers.
Timur Khaliullin, soloist of the Belgorod State Philharmonic, is actively engaged in promoting carillon music. Timur is the only concert carillonist, organist and harpsichordist in the Black Earth Region, the author of his own compositions and arrangements for carillon and organ. He is a laureate of numerous prestigious international competitions. He is an active concert performer, takes part in international masterclasses and numerous projects aimed at promoting classical music and working with children's audiences.
