Year 2025

On 18 and 19 July, the IX International Music Festival Ruskeala Symphony took place in Ruskeala Mountain Park. For two concert days the festival was visited by more than 7000 people all across Russia—from Murmansk to Stavropol and Volgograd.
This year, the Karelian weather gifted the guests of the Ruskeala Symphony festival with two hot, sunny days. For the first time in nine years, the audience had no need for umbrellas or raincoats.
The Ruskeala Symphony festival in Karelia opened with a performance by the Alexandrov Ensemble and their "Songs of Victory" program. The ensemble of over one hundred artists performed in the republic for the first time. The audience sang along to famous war songs.
The second day of the festival was no less eventful: guests heard the only mobile carillon in Russia, jazz from the Oleg Lundstrem Memorial Orchestra, performances by the Mariinsky Theatre choir from North Ossetia, and other acts. The festival culminated in a grand finale featuring soloists from the Mariinsky and Bolshoi Theatres, accompanied by the Karelia Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra.
The Head of the Republic invited everyone to attend the anniversary tenth festival next year.
