Year 2024

On 27 and 28 July, the VIII International Music Festival Ruskeala Symphony took place in Ruskeala Mountain Park. For two concert days the festival was visited by more than 6000 people from Nizhny Novgorod and Ryazan regions, Vologda and Tver regions, Krasnodar Krai, Murmansk and Murmansk region, St. Petersburg and Leningrad region, Moscow and Moscow region, the Republic of Tatarstan and, of course, the Republic of Karelia. The weather in Karelia, as always, was changeable: from the heat of +30 in the first half of the day, rain with thunderstorms in the afternoon to refreshing coolness in the evening. In the picturesque Karelian landscapes the festival guests heard opera and jazz, Baroque compositions, gypsy melodies, music from favourite films and other world classics. New addition on the festival was the Ruskeala Kids - venue for children playground, which was open all day Saturday. The programme included concerts for children and master classes in musical instrument making.
