Yu Lihong & Dilyara Dmitrieva

Yu Lihong (soprano; People's Republic of China) — professor of Shanghai Conservatory, First rank artist of P.R.China, the laureate of the highest state awards, member of the board of the Research society for the study of Chinese folk singing art, and one of the most honoured and recognizable voices of the "Celestial Empire."

Yu Lihong is a “Shanghai nightingale". Millions of copies of Yu Lihong’s CDs are released. She performs as a soloist in the folk opera and is a frequent invited quest at state events.  Her songs are played in the films scenes and television programs.

She actively tours in the US, Europe, Australia, Japan and Korea.


Dilyara Dmitrieva (piano) - Honored Artist of the Republic of Karelia, the Associate Professor of Shanghai Pedagogical University, a highly professional performer and respected teacher.

She performs with solo programs in concert halls in Russia, China and Europe. As an actively concerting musician, she has performed many times with symphonic and chamber orchestras. An important place in her work is given to ensemble performance. She is the first performer and interpreter of a number of contemporary works, including by Karelian composers.
